Pets and Kids Think Alike: They Hate the Same Medicines — FLAVORx Reports Most Commonly Flavored Veterinary Medications

A recent FLAVORx revealed that many of the most commonly flavored veterinary medications are also commonly flavored pediatric medications. Unsurprisingly, pets, like humans, have a difficult time swallowing bitter-tasting and foul-smelling medications. The addition of flavoring to a medication allows veterinary clinics to flavor medications in pet-approved flavors, leading to much greater levels of medicinal compliance for both pet and owner.
