The Tribute Center Mission “...embodies the need to gather at the World Trade Center site, connect to the people and places, and reflect on the events of February 26, 1993 and September 11, 2001.” CEO of the September 11 Families’ Association, Jennifer Adams, envisioned a visitor center at ground zero where guided tours of the site could enrich the public while giving tribute to the tragic loss of life. In response to this, Direct Technology Innovations’ (DTI), Robert Cleveland presented to the Association a mobile ticketing program which would facilitate the volunteer guided tours program and specifically support a capacity management requirement needed by the September 11 Families’ Association for the Tribute Center.
